Cheese Biscuits

Cheese Biscuits (makes 20)

Pair with: Cline Family Cellars Petite Sirah

  • Biscuit dough (one container)
  • Mozzarella cheese (one log cut into 1 inch cubes)
  • Butter (1 stick)
  • Parsley (1/4 cup)
  • Garlic (4 cloves)
  • Grated parmesan (1 cup)
  1. Use store brought biscuit dough or make your own! (Biscuit recipe below) Stuff each biscuit (store bought cut in half) homemade (1 inch round) with a cube of mozzarella cheese. Make sure to pinch dough around cheese so it does not escape during cooking! Place in a 350 oven for 15-20 minutes. While biscuits cook, place a code of butter in sauce pans with parsley and 4 crushed garlic cloves. Cook on low until butter has melted and garlic flavor has infused. When bombs are golden brown, pull from oven and top with melted butter/parsley mixture. To finish, sprinkle with grated parm.
