Blueberry and Brie Grilled Cheese

Blueberry Brie Grilled Cheese (makes 5 sandwiches)

Pair with Farmhouse white

  • Sourdough bread (10 slices)
  • Blueberries (2 cups)
  • Brown sugar (2 Tablespoons)
  • Lemon juice (2 whole)
  • Brie cheese (one wheel)
  1. Compote: Place blueberries, lemon juice and brown sugar in sauce pan and simmer on low heat until blueberries burst and sauce begins to thicken
  2. Sandwich: Put butter or mayonnaise on outside of bread. On low heat, put one side of bread down, place a layer to Brie and cover in blueberry compote. Place other piece of bread on top and flip when underside of bread is golden brown
