Blueberry Brie Grilled Cheese (makes 5 sandwiches)
Pair with Farmhouse white
- Sourdough bread (10 slices)
- Blueberries (2 cups)
- Brown sugar (2 Tablespoons)
- Lemon juice (2 whole)
- Brie cheese (one wheel)
- Compote: Place blueberries, lemon juice and brown sugar in sauce pan and simmer on low heat until blueberries burst and sauce begins to thicken
- Sandwich: Put butter or mayonnaise on outside of bread. On low heat, put one side of bread down, place a layer to Brie and cover in blueberry compote. Place other piece of bread on top and flip when underside of bread is golden brown
