Our Roots Run Deep
Cline Cellars is family-owned since 1982 by Fred and Nancy Cline. All our wines are sustainably farmed.
Single Vineyard Wines
Our small lot wines come from select vineyard blocks in Oakley and Carneros. Ancient vines, planted in the early 1900s, are the source for the Big Break, Bridgehead, and Live Oak Zinfandels as well as the Small Berry Mourvedre. Late Harvest Mourvedre is produced only in vintages of exceptional quality. Los Carneros Syrah is grown on a hillside in our Estate vineyard.
Sonoma County Wines
Our cool climate Sonoma Coast and Carneros vineyards produce the fruit for our NEW Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Merlot. Cline also specializes in Zinfandel and popular Rhône style wines like Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre, as well as Viognier, Roussanne, and Marsanne.
Ancient Vines Wines
These wines herald from vineyards in Contra Costa County, where many of the vines are 80 to 100+ years old. Our ancient vines are low yielding and produce wines with intensity, boldness, and richness.
Lodi Zinfandel, Viognier, and Syrah come from some of the finest vineyards in California. Cline is a top 10 selling Zinfandel. These wines are often featured in Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast as “Best Buy” or “Best Value.” Cline is the largest solar-powered winery in California.
Cashmere by Cline
Cashmere is a premium wine offering from Fred & Nancy Cline. With over $270,000 donated to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Cashmere is the wine that gives back. We craft a red blend and a white blend from our vineyards in Sonoma and Oakley.
