Pair with: Cline Family Cellars Seven Ranchlands Viognier

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 baguette sliced
  • 8 oz fresh goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of thyme
  • 8 medium mission figs
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar for drizzling
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees

2. Slice the baguette in 1/2 inch rounds and brush the sliced bread with olive oil

3. Place bread slices on a cooking sheet and spread goat cheese on all the slices

4. Sprinkle the bread slices with salt, pepper, and thyme leaves

5. Bake for 8-10 minutes

6. Cut all the figs into quarters

7. Remove bread from the oven and place fig pieces cut side up on top each slice of bread

8. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and serve immediately
