Our Cline County Collection sources wines exclusively from family growers, including ourselves, located in county appellations across the North Coast. With county specific sourcing these wines reflect the terroir and heritage of each growing region and are crafted by the Cline Family - a family deeply rooted in California's North Coast farming community. Through this selective sourcing we offer a level of quality unmatched by our competitors who rely on broader California grapes and bulk. By contrast our wines are born from the traditions of our family, the dedication of family farmers, and are made to be enjoyed with yours.

ROSÉ OF MOURVEDRE
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
Sourced from three heritage vineyards in the deep, sandy soils of Contra Costa County, our Mourvèdre thrives in this unique terroir. The vines benefit from cool evening breezes from the San Joaquin and Sacramento Rivers, which preserve the grape’s vibrant acidity and freshness. The combination of exceptionally well-drained soils and minimal rainfall naturally limits yields, resulting in fruit of remarkable intensity and concentration. Farmed specifically for rosé in the classic French style, we hand-harvest whole clusters early from Mourvèdre vines at optimal ripeness. The grapes are pressed immediately to capture their delicate aromatics and brilliant freshness, producing a wine that is both vibrant and expressive.
SAUVIGNON BLANC
LAKE COUNTY
We work with exceptional family farmers to source fruit for this Sauvignon Blanc. The majority of the blend comes from Lake County near the shores of Clear Lake. The region’s hot days, cool nights, and high elevation promote early ripening while preserving bright acidity and crisp flavors. Another portion is sourced from the Red Hills AVA, where iron-rich clay soils and a northerly aspect help moderate temperatures. The proximity to the lake also provides cooling fog, extending the growing season. We also source from the Middletown area of Lake County, north of Calistoga and east of Geyserville, these vineyards sit at a much higher elevation. Finally, a small amount of fruit is sourced from our estate vineyard in Carneros, adding richness and complexity, with Sauvignon Blanc and a small amount of Sémillon lending weight and aromatic depth to the final wine.
PINOT GRIS
SONOMA COUNTY
Our Pinot Gris is sourced predominantly from our Diamond Pile Ranch, with a small portion from our Catapult Ranch, both located in the Petaluma Gap on the western side of Sonoma County. The region is defined by its signature wind and fog. The fog typically rolls in at daybreak and by late morning, steady winds sweep through, clearing the fog and ushering in cool ocean air directly from the Pacific Ocean. These elements help us craft a classic Pinot Gris with bright notes of pear and apple layered with hints of exotic fruit and subtle spice. Refreshing and expressive, it’s a wonderful summer sipper that also pairs beautifully with a variety of appetizers and light dishes.
CHARDONNAY
SONOMA COUNTY | MENDOCINO COUNTY
Our County Collection Chardonnay is sourced from three vineyards within the North Coast, each contributing unique characteristics to the final wine. The first region is Potter Valley in Mendocino County. This slightly inland region benefits from a higher elevation that creates a significant diurnal shift. The second vineyard is our Estate Vineyard in the Carneros region. This site experiences a touch more heat, adding stone fruit characters to the wine. The longer growing season contributes to its concentration and texture. The final area is our Petaluma Gap vineyard. Vineyards in the Petaluma Gap bring a linear and crisp aspect to the Chardonnay, with tropical fruit notes emerging from the dramatic temperature swings between day and night. This region boasts the longest growing season of all, enhancing the wine's stunning detail. Together, these regions create a complete, balanced, and rich Chardonnay.
PINOT NOIR
MENDOCINO COUNTY
This Pinot Noir is sourced from select vineyards across the esteemed North Coast, with the majority hailing from Potter Valley in Mendocino County. Known for its dramatic diurnal shifts, Potter Valley experiences hot inland days followed by cool, crisp nights—ideal conditions for Pinot Noir. These temperature swings help the grapes develop vibrant acidity, refined structure, and expressive character. A small portion of the blend also comes from our family’s vineyards in the Petaluma Gap, where coastal winds add freshness and complexity, resulting in a bright, Burgundian-style Pinot Noir.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON
LAKE COUNTY
We source fruit from family growers in Lake County. Rolling Knolls and Diamond D are the two main sources, both owned by prominent vineyard owner and long-time Lake County farmer Clay Shannon. Rolling Knolls is a stunning ranch in the Red Hills AVA overlooking Clear Lake, this site ripens earlier and has heavy volcanic and iron rich soils. The second site is Diamond D Ranch, situated just North of Middletown, it has a slight Southward facing slope and takes a little longer to ripen in the Kelsey fine sand loam soils found here. The grapes from both sites have the signature Cabernet Sauvignon character with depth and concentration only the best sites in Lake County exhibit. This wine jumps out of the glass with notes and flavors of blackberry, plum, and mocha. It is a true joy to work with great growers and be able to make and share this wine with everyone.
